Notes for Pierre DUCOTE, I

This Ducote was trading in the Point Coupee area in the 1730's. He
first married an Indian woman named Antoinette and by 1745 had settled
down as a farmer in Point Coupee, with several slaves. Antoinette died in
1747 and he married Marie Cabel of the German Coast.
