The 1880 census of Avoyelles Parish, record #44, does not show
children, Domecillia or Orelia living with the father. Judging by their
respective ages, they could have married and moved away or no longer be
living in 1880.
The next farm over that the census taker visited was son Alcee with
his 19 year old wife Alice. Record #45.
