Notes for Modeste GAGNARD

By the Census of 1860 Modeste Gagnard was listed as living in the home of
her daughter, Marcellite (LaBorde) Juneau, who was also a widow. Modeste
was 75 years old at that time. Modeste Gagnard was the daughter of
Avoyelles Post Spanish Commandant, Jacques Gagnard and his wife Ursule
Juneau. Modeste Gagnard was Baptized at St. Francis Church Pointe
Coupee, LA.
