Notes for George Albert HANNA
George Albert Hanna lived to be 74, even though he was a chain smoker.
He was never married and produced no heirs. He lived at home in the
beautiful white columned house that Joseph Hugh Hanna built. This house
was left to Leslie Eaddy Hanna who was married to Ella Maude Putnam; but,
a life interest in the house was given to George Albert Hanna. George
Albert Hanna made his living farming in the Gifford, SC area. His other
brothers did likewise with the exception of Hugh Oliver Hanna, Sr. who
moved to Varnville, SC, and practiced law in the county seat at Hampton,
SC.

This page is dedicated to the men and women who braved great danger to
establish and defend the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. To all of
them we are deeply indebted and especially those who died for this cause.
