Notes for Floyd Pritchard EADDY


Floyd Pritchard Eaddy retired in 1970 after serving for 45 years as the
minister of music in Methodist, Baptist, and Presbyterian churches. He
performed as the bass soloist with his son in Kissimmee at the First
United Methodist Church, sang with a Bach Festival Choir in Orlando,
accepted some assignments each year at church conferences, and
substituted as music director for his successor at First Presbyterian,
Orlando, Florida when requested. Memberships had been held in
Presbyterian and Methodist churches.

Additional pursuits included the occupation of carpentry. He served in
the American Red Cross 1943-1945 in Australia. He died of Spinal Cord
Stroke and Septicemia on January 7, 1986.
