Funeral
Services Friday for Mabel E. Parker. Funeral services will be held
Friday at
11 a.m. at the Harford Funeral Home for Mrs. Mabel Ethel Parker, 83, of
Hemet,
who passed away Monday at a local hospital.
The Rev. John O. Hedwall, pastor of the Hemet First Christian Church, will
officiate, and burial will be in the San Jacinto Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker had been a Hemet area resident for 58 years. Her husband,
John,
died here in August, 1971. They had celebrated their sixtieth wedding
anniversary in December, 1970, and for 55 years had been engaged in
ranching
and the poultry business. She was a long time member of the Hemet First
Christian Church and active in its affairs.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin Parker of Idyllwild; Paul Parker of
Oswego,
Kansas; two brothers, Sturgeon Brame of Lebanon, Indiana, and John Brame
of
South Bend, Indiana; one sister, Mattie Brame of Sebree, Kentucky; four
grand-children and nine great-grandchildren.
