Notes for Charles Clark PARKER

He was mayor of Redlands, CA for two terms. In WWII, he was a bomber pilot
and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross. After the war, he was a plant
supervisor for Union Oil.

Memorial Booklet shows memorial service on Fri. 1PM Nov 19,1993 at First
Congregational Church, Redlands, CA. Cremated. Poem included in booklet
written by daughter-in-law , Kathleen Berck Parker:

If ever there was anyone who loved life it was he--
A man who cherished each new day and did so happily.
Juanita was his lifelong love
His helper, mate and friend
A companion through both good and bad
And faithful to the end.
His children were his pride and joy
He loved his family so
Whenever they expressed a need
He seldom answered no.
So do not mourn for Charlie
Just remember him and smile.
He isn't gone, he's just away
And we'll see him in awhile.
