Notes for George BARR
He was for many years a consistent member of Indiantown Church. He
served as a Ruling Elder of the same for a period of forty years.
Epitaph on tombstone: Jason R. Cockfield. "Sermons in Stone, I.", 1994.
"How blest the righteous when he dies.
When sinks a weary soul to rest,
How mildly beam the closing eyes,
How gently heaves the expiring breast.
Life's duty done, as sinks the clay,
Light from its load the Spirit flies,
While Heaven and Earth combine to say,
How blest the righteous when he dies."

This page is dedicated to the men and women who braved great danger to
establish and defend the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. To all of
them we are deeply indebted and especially those who died for this cause.
