Notes for Thomas Mitchel GRIER
Died of what was diagnosed as an abscess on the liver and was probably a
ruptured appendix.
Epitaph on gravestone in Grier Cemetery, Johnsonville, SC, "Remember man
as you pass by, As you are now so once was I, As I am now you will
shortly be, Prepare for death and follow me."

This page is dedicated to the men and women who braved great danger to
establish and defend the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. To all of
them we are deeply indebted and especially those who died for this cause.
