Notes for Mary STONE
Brøderbund WFT Vol. 6, Ed. 1, Tree #1199, Date of Import: Apr 20, 1997
Some sources cite Mary Ervin as the wife of Jacob Bartell, I. Land
purchase documents have him married to Mary Stone. She could have been
named Mary Ervin Stone; but, this has not been documented at present. It
has also been suggested that she was the daughter of Philip Stone (b.
1716) and his wife Margaret. This would make her the sister of Austin
Stone, I. (b. 1748) and cause her birth to be about 1762.
