We, the undersigned heirs of the late W. L. Voorhies and his wife Marie
Joffrion do hereby authorize W. J. Voorhies to act in and stead and fully
represent us in passing, an act of partition of the landed property of
the said late W. L. Voorhies and his wife Marie G. Joffrion, both
deceased, before any competent notary public.

Be it known and remembered that on the seventh day of the month of
February in
the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two,
Before me Alfred Eraste Gremillion, a notary public, in and for the
parish of Avoyelles, State of Louisiana aforesaid duly commissioned and
qualified and in presence of the witnesses hereafter named and
undersigned,
Personally came and appeared William L. Voorhies, and Etienne Oscar
Voorhies herein acting for the __________ in proper persons and Charles
Homer Voorhies herein represented by the said William J. Voorhies all
three being fifth heirs of William L. Voorhies and Mrs. Marie G.
Joffrion, his wife, both deceased, and Lucien X. Voorhies, Louis A.
Voorhies, Albert H. Voorhies, John J. Voorhies, Horace E. Voorhies, Mrs.
Emma A. Voorhies wife of Louis DeWailly, Mrs. Fannellie E. Voorhies wife
of Agria Pastor, Mrs. Eugenie Voorhies wife of Zenon L. Guillory, and
Miss Irene M. Voorhies, all of the said ________being herein duly aided
authorized and assisted by their husbands all of the last named families
being children of Jean Hyacinth Voorhies. who was a son of the said
William L. Voorhies and all represented herein by William J. Voorhies by
virtue of a power of attorney hereto annexed and made part hereof all of
the appears are residents of the parish of Avoyelles, Louisiana, except
Lucien X. Voorhies who resides in the parish of Rapides, Louisiana.
