Notes for Paul LABORDE

Bernadine LaBorde Eaddy remembers a man named Paul who was introduced to
her when she was about 7 to 8 years of age. Paul was identified as the
brother of her grandfather who was Arnaud Paul LaBorde. She remembers
that they looked similar to each other. Paul had a distinctively large
nose which was crooked, as if it might have been broken on the tip. He
probably did not live in Mansura as she recalled seeing him only a few
times.

This page is dedicated to the men and women who braved great danger to come from France and other countries and worked under extremely difficult conditions in the Louisiana Wilderness to produce a better way of life for their descendants.  To all of them we are deeply indebted.
