Notes for Francois Godefrey Barbin DE BELLVUE


Francois Godefroy Barbin DeBellvue served as a Lieutenant of Marines
under Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans in 1814. Francois was
an attorney and succeeded his brother, Louis James Barbin as Parish Judge
of Avoyelles in 1831.
