Notes for William Thomas THEOBALDS


Studied medicine prior to the War between the States. Served in the
Pelican Greys from 4/1861 forward. This unit was from Ouachita Parish. He
moved to Bayou Siard. In the early 1890's he served as Sheriff of Jackson
Parish. for one term.
There were no children of this marriage. He did however adopt his
neice Sara Elizabeth Brown after the death of her parents.
