Notes for Mary EADDY
This Mary Eaddy was the mother of John Ford who changed his name to John
Eaddy (his mother's maiden name) to escape conscription in the Royal Navy
in Nelson's time. About the time of Nelson, (about 1812-15 or the time
of the War of 1812) he fled to the side of St. Germain, Cornwall, Great
Brittain.
