Notes for William KEEFFE, SR
William Keeffe/O'Keeffe was believed to have immigrated from Cornwall,
England to America around 1740. It is assumed that he settled about 1742
in the Parish of St. James Santee and may have used the names O'Keeffe
and Keeffe interchangeably.
The information for the Keefe/Keefe family was derived from several
