Notes for Calvin Bailey FOXWORTH


Calvin Bailey Foxworth enlisted with the rank of Private in White's
Brigade, CSA on August 13, 1861, and was promoted to the rank of
Corporal. He was wounded on September 19, 1863 at Marietta, GA. He
served in Company I, 10th Infantry Regiment at the Battle of Chicamauga
near Chattanooga, TN. He was last on the muster roll between March -
April 1864. On August 20, 1864, he received pay for service at Columbia,
SC.
