Notes for Samuel EADDY, SR


Samuel (Eaddy) Eddy, Sr. appeared with his brother, James (Eaddy) Eddy,
II in the Jury Lists, Prince Frederick's Parish for the period
1778-1791. Samuel Eddy was a Revolutionary War soldier who served with
his brother James (Eaddy) Eddy, II. and possibly with his father, James
Eddy, I. in the Francis Marion Brigade.

This family changed its name to Eaddy between 1819 and 1848.
