Chenness, age 33 years. Confederate 6 Cav. SC Co. H (Aiken's Regiment
Partisan Rangers). This company subsequently became Co. H. 6th Regiment
SC Cavalry. Enlisted June 8, 1862 in Marion, SC by Capt. Maguire".
Chenness, Joseph Benjamin (Chinners, Chinnis; Chinnes?) born 1829 in
Marion County.
