Notes for George CARTER

OLIVER EADDY

He became a Methodist minister and with his wife and some 10 children
migrated to Florida.

A letter from Lucy Eaddy to Robert James Eaddy, Jr., written from
Wildwood, Florida, May 12, 1884, mentions the following in the family:
"Eddie, age 28 and not married yet; Mary and her husband Mr. Hicks;
Joanna, living in Kentucky; Emma, who is younger than myself, nearly 16,
but is small; and Little Oliver, the baby, six years old."

This page is dedicated to the men and women who braved great danger to establish and defend the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.  To all of them we are deeply indebted and especially those who died for this cause.
