Notes for Mary Elizabeth Aidawell Thursey Rebecca EADDY

After the death of Mary Gaskins Eaddy on April 13, 1871, a short time
after the second child was born, Benjamin Franklin Eaddy took his son
Liston with him to Mississippi, where he settled at Pulaski, married a
second time, and reared a family. Although he returned to SC many times,
and wanted to take his daughter (Mary Elizabeth Aidawell Thirsey Rebecca
Eaddy) with him to Mississippi, she had become attached to her Gaskins
grandparents and they to her, so she became a part of the Gaskins family.
