Notes for Clark EADDY

One account of Clark Eaddy states that he volunteered to serve in the
Confederacy as did his brothers Robert James Eaddy , Sr. and Gregory
Eaddy. Other reports suggest he might have been wounded at Gettysburg,
PA and later died from this cause.

In "The Call to Arms" by Danny H. Smith, he was listed on page 122 as
being exempted, by The Draft Act of May 1st, 1863. He was listed among
the exempted as an overseer of a large plantation, owned by Mary Barr.
In the same article, on page 121 and on the "Confederate Honor Roll" on
page 38, he is cited as one who volunteered for service in the gray
uniform of the CSA.

Birth reported November 4, 1831 in Barr Bible and death in 1865 recorded
in Prospect Methodist Church Roll.
