Notes for Lillian Allene EADDY

Lillian Allene (Eaddy) Potter graduated from the University of Florida.
She taught for 35 years and for 60 years served as pianist, violinist
(soloist), and organist in the First Methodist Church at Bushnell, FL.
She was also active in church and community affairs.

Mrs. Potter's parents migrated to Florida during the desperate years
following the Civil War. She tells about her parents' earliest
experiences there and what it was like to go back to Johnsonville to
visit her grandparents. This passage forms the first chapter of a family
chronicle written for her own grandchildren, Charlotte Irene Hunter,
Patrick Teasley Hunter, II, and Debra Rosamond Hunter. (See: "Family
Echos" in Personal Notes of Joseph Allen Eaddy.)

This page is dedicated to the men and women who braved great danger to establish and defend the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.  To all of them we are deeply indebted and especially those who died for this cause.
